Curling Update

Our Ravens Boy’s and Girls curling teams finally hit the ice after a 4 week hiatus looking to finish the regular season in strong form heading into the playoffs.

The boy’s team got off to a slow start against St.FX trying to get a feel for the ice. However, skip Josh Flett kept making great shot after great shot to keep our boys in the game. However, a costly mental lapse of giving our opponents a point instead of giving ourselves a point ultimately sealed our fate and handed us our second loss in a row. Our boys have a 5-2 record with one game left in the regular season. Hopefully our boys will find a way to right the ship and return to their winning ways come playoffs.

Watching the lady ravens you would never have known that they had a month off. They were quick out of the hack taking 3 points in the first end and kept adding to their lead and never looking back.  The girls took the win over Brookfield 11-2 and sit in a 3 way tie for first going into their last regular season game next week.
